Tom Ausley is one of the top 50 lawyers in the Central and West Texas region.  The list of 50 is comprised of those lawyers who ranked top of the list in the Texas Super Lawyers 2012 nomination, research and blue ribbon review process.

Of the 50 lawyers named, Tom was the only family law lawyer from Austin who made the list.

Ausley, Algert, Robertson & Flores' partners--Tom Ausley, Kris Algert, Eric Robertson, Kelly Ausley-Flores, and JoAl Cannon Sheridan--have, once again, been recognized as Super Lawyers by Texas Monthly and the Law and Politics magazines.

Texas Super Lawyers represent the top 5% of lawyers in the State of Texas. Each of the firm's super lawyers will be featured in the Texas Super Lawyers Edition of Texas Monthly magazine which is scheduled to hit newstands in October.

Kelly Ausley-Flores has been selected to serve on the council of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Tom Ausley has been named Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas for 2012 - 2013.  This is the second time he has been named chair of the section. 

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) selected JoAl Cannon Sheridan to become one of its members. AAML is comprised of the best family law trial attorneys in the nation.

Once again, Kelly Caperton Fischer has been named a 2012 Texas Rising Star by Law and Politics and the publishers of Texas Monthly.  Kelly has been named a Texas Rising Star every year since 2009.  A "Texas Rising Star" is a top lawyer who is 40 years old or younger or who has been in practice 10 years or less.  Candidates are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professinal achievement.

U. S. News & Best Lawyers ranked Ausley, Algert, Robertson & Flores as the best Family Law and Family Law Mediation firm in the Austin metropolitan area for 2011-2012!

In addition,  Texas' Best Lawyers recently announced that Kristen A. Algert was named Best Lawyer in America 2011 in Family Law and Kelly Ausley-Flores was named the 2012 Austin Family Law Lawyer of the Year! 

JoAl Cannon Sheridan hs been named Treasurer for the Family Law Foundation.  The Family Law Foundation is the lobbying arm of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Tom Ausley has been named Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas for 2011 - 2012.  He most recently held the position of Vice-Chair.

Kris Algert spoke at the Collaborative Law 101 conference on the topic of making the "paradigm shift."  She addressed attendees the following day regarding "Challenging Process Issues."  The State Bar of Texas, the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas (www.collablawtexas.org), and the Collaborative Law Section of the State Bar of Texas sponsored the annual conference which took place in Dallas on March 8-11, 2011.
